True tales from the twilight zone

On a driving lesson a couple of years ago i was with a student
driving down Hope Street. About 20 meters ahead a man
stepped into the road to cross, about half way across he just
faded away. I dismissed this as a trick of the light, it being
twilight, then the girl driving said " did you just see that man
disappear"  A tingle went down my spine.

Teaching the Deaf to Drive

The challenges some deaf people have are:-

  • many don't know that they can get a driving license,
  • those that do cannot get past the theory test very easily
  • many driving instructors refuse them or are very
    impatient with them

Testimonial from Danielle
Colin is a good driving instructor. He is very patient
and his instructions are easy to understand. He is
very friendly and always willing to answer any
questions I had.

My lessons were an hour and a half each time and I
found I learnt more this way which is why I think I
passed first time.

I will recommend Colin to any of my friends who are
going to learn to drive.
